RatedWithAI

RatedWithAI

Accessibility scanner

Check a site's accessibility from ChatGPT, Claude or your editor

RatedWithAI runs as a remote MCP server. Add one URL to your assistant and ask it to "check example.com for accessibility issues": it loads the live page in a real browser, runs axe-core against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA on up to three pages, and answers with a 0-100 score, a letter grade and the failing rules with example elements. No account and no API key.

MCP server URL

https://ratedwithai.com/api/mcp

Transport: Streamable HTTP. Authentication: none.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create, name it "RatedWithAI", paste the URL above and set authentication to "No authentication".
  3. In a new chat, enable the connector from the + menu and ask: "Is shop.example.com accessible?"

Claude (claude.ai and desktop)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".
  2. Name it "RatedWithAI", paste the URL above and save. There is nothing to sign in to.
  3. Ask: "Run an accessibility scan on example.com and tell me what to fix first."

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http ratedwithai https://ratedwithai.com/api/mcp

Cursor

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "ratedwithai": { "url": "https://ratedwithai.com/api/mcp" }
  }
}

VS Code (Copilot agent mode)

Add to .vscode/mcp.json:

{
  "servers": {
    "ratedwithai": { "type": "http", "url": "https://ratedwithai.com/api/mcp" }
  }
}

What the assistant can call

Read-only: the server never changes your site. Pages behind a login, localhost and private-network addresses are refused. Scanned URLs are handled as described in our privacy policy.

When one scan isn't enough

A chat scan is a snapshot of three pages. Sites change weekly, and an ADA demand letter cites what is on the site the day it is sent. Two things the connector does not do:
