Level AA success criterion

Provide more than one way to locate a web page within a set of pages, except when the page is a step in a process.

Why it matters

Different users prefer different navigation methods. Some use search, others use sitemaps, and some browse hierarchically.

  • No search functionality on large sites
  • Missing sitemap or site index
  • No breadcrumb navigation
  • Single navigation path to all content
